The design of this modular shower primarily focuses on integrating all technically necessary installations into one area and developing the functions of cleaning, washing, and showering as a single module.
We aimed to emphasize the simplicity of materials and use only the minimal necessary sealing agents. Steel was chosen as the primary material to eliminate the need for silicone joints, replacing them with weld seams. This choice not only improves the aesthetics of the shower but also enhances its durability and ease of maintenance.
As a secondary material, wood was selected for its ecological sustainability, contributing to a warm and natural atmosphere. The combination of robust steel and sustainably sourced wood results in a functional yet appealing design that seamlessly integrates into various bathroom styles.
Material Selection Summary:
- Steel: Primary material, replaces silicone joints with weld seams, ensures robustness and longevity.
- Wood: Sustainable, ecological material that provides a warm and natural aesthetic.
This thoughtful material selection and modular design allow for easy installation and maintenance, as well as high adaptability to different spatial conditions.
